For over a year, NUAMPS has been working with Dr. Larry Cochard, Feinberg School of Medicine, to develop an interactive online companion to the school’s M1 and M2 Anatomy courses. The idea was to allow students to use both radiological imaging and anatomical illustrations to identify and learn anatomical structures.
The site presents images in a Flash viewer which highlights structures on the image when a student rolls over either the image or a corresponding list of terms. Students can also compare related images side-by side.
The site will launch in the next few weeks and will be incorporated as a resource in the M1 Structure-Function course beginning in October.
